There's a New Boutique in Town!!!

In Sunday's Spokesman Review, April 5,09, there was an article about the new "boutiques" in Spokane. One that was mentioned was Tangerine,it's located in the revitalized Davenport District.
My dear friend Rebecca Trainer and I designed and created this artistic store. You will find two floor-to-ceiling mirror mosaics,we thought it seemed appropriate to pay homage to the area's past by including a touch of opulence once known here,and with the urban-contemporary edginess of what the area and the times now demand. We faux finished the walls with beautiful rich tangerine color, created custom display fixtures and designed a unique three-tiered chandelier from three vintage "60's" light fixtures. We ordered several custom pieces of furniture to fit perfectly in the store. Black and white damask print chairs for the seating area, and a great pair of leopard chairs for the dressing rooms. Shouldn't everyone have a little leopard ??

I wanted to mention to you about my friend Rebecca, besides one of my FAV people she is a Amazingly Talented designer and artist.I am so inspired by her talent! She will be selling some of her custom jewerly pieces at our Flea Market in October, can't wait. See you there...........

Farm Chicks Here We Come!!!!

Thank you Maison Douce for the wonderful picture from The Farm Chicks' Show '08. We just recieved our vendor packet and are excited to be returning to the same location as last year, we will be bringing all of our best stuff,and filling our space with unique one-of-a-kind finds. You wont' want to miss this years show!!!!!

Good Friends

After a morning of Estate Sales, our Junking friend "Larry" took us to Breakfast at "Chaps"(The Best Breakfast Ever!) We were so surprised and excited that our friend and owner of Chaps, Celeste was there to greet us and made us feel so welcomed. She and my middle son Charlie have a connection ( last year they met at The Farm Chicks Show!!!) She gave Charlie a cowboy hat and he got to fill it with Cowboys and Indians! What a fun surprise for our Charlie:) We feel so fortunate to have such wonderful people in our life and who make us feel so loved!!!!

WE DID IT!!!!

Cop Charlie's 5th Birthday

My son Charlie turned 5 on Wednesday the llth of March,and boy was it a busy week. I am just now able to get everything together to post. Charlie is my middle son and is obsessed with "cops". So the theme of the party...was of course "cops," we made star invitations to send out for Cop Charlie's 5th B-Day Party.

There was mini cupcakes sent to school with blue colored frosting.(to match his police uniform)
I tried to find a police officer that could come over but, they are sometimes hard to find when you want them:) So I took him to the next best place for his Birthday suprise......



Off to Chuck E. Cheese on Friday the 13th for the Grand Finale.........
You know cops love their doughnuts.......
