Hello Friends and Happy 2017!

It's that time of the year we begin to start thinking about what's on our calendar for the new year. We
hope you had a wonderful winter and are ready for spring! We always look forward to this time of
the year, whether it is creating a new project, trying a new recipe or making plans for new
adventures, there's a freshness about this time of year that we love, even in the dark days of winter,
we see new beginnings, new loves, and greatness. We're ready, are you?

The Mad Hatter event is back again at the 5 Mile Prairie Grange, and the dates have been set for
September 22 & September 23, 2017. Much thanks and appreciation to all the vendors and loyal
customers for the fabulous market we had last September, it truly exceeded our expectations! We
love transforming The Grange into a deliciously magical setting for our customers to shop. Celia and
I appreciate the love and support from the 5-Mile community, friends, and families that come visit
and shop each year. We have heard so many wonderful comments from customers from last year's
show, expressing the love of what we all bring to The Grange, and they LOVE the theater of our
show with Mad Hatter and friends costumes. The Mad Hatter event is truly a one-of-a-kind market
offering live music, great food, "how to" classes, creatively designed and vintage-inspired goods,
two beautiful Indian Summer days and nights (most of the time) and of course, VINTAGE AND
HANDCRAFTED GOODS, make our event spectacular! Our vendors who specialize in
repurposed furniture, painted furniture, vintage inspired clothing, jewelry, salvage goods, industrial
pieces, primitives, antiques, and a few surprises have made The Mad Hatter what it is today!

We are thrilled, honored and blessed to be included in the Spring/Summer Flea Market Style
Magazine - Readers' Favorite Outdoor Small Fleas & Vintage Shows. Thank you friend and vendor, Keri Redd Yirak from Rare and Retro Vintage for recommending our event! We appreciate the LOVE!!

“It's just the most charming show! Friday evening when the outdoor vendors have their
                                                      lights on is magical!”

Again, wishing you much success throughout the year in all your endeavors, and a year of joyful

Sincerely, Gladys Hanning & Celia Hanning/Therens
