Hi, all! It's Mari here from Arcadian Home blog, a wonderful place to find beautiful and interesting home decor inspirations. I'm so happy to be visiting here with you at Junebug Furniture & Design. Today's guest post was inspired by The Mad Hatter Flea Market name. Those words immediately conjured up visions of fantastical vintage rooms of every sort from dark moody industrial spaces to soaring glass conservatories and everything in between.
I've brought along eight very diverse rooms for your vintage inspiration. To me, each is magical with its very own unique and special look. Please enjoy!
This Madrid loft is the first of our fantastical vintage spaces. It's filled with light, pale color and a mix of traditional antiques, Mid-Century pieces and aged leather. I love the glass-paned dividing wall.
What a magical vintage setting this is. Industrial architecture acts as a blank canvas for the homeowner's collection of artwork, decorative pieces and furnishings.
Glorious light fills the fantastical vintage space that is artist Claire Basler's studio! In an intriguing play of light, it's difficult to discern whether the background is a piece of her wall art or live plants set against a neutral background.
Metals, woods and chalkboard wall merge beautifully into an updated vintage industrial space turned kitchen.
A fantasy vintage getaway in the treetops is a lovely mix of flowing floor to ceiling curtains, rosy-hued antique rug and delicate wrought iron chandelier.
This glass conservatory is filled with vintage furnitures and decorative objects. I love the quirky palm trees and soaring glass ceiling.
This breeze-filled bedroom is at once ethereal with gauzy curtains and grounded in the masculine look of leather trunks—a fantastical vintage look.
We leave you with a vine-covered outdoor kitchen that would have been common in grandmother's time, but today it's a fantastical vintage dream come true for only a fortunate few. Think of hours and hours of flea market fun it would take to seek out well-loved treasures to fill the shelves in this magical summer kitchen. Images 1
