Several few months ago on my way home from our local grocery store, I noticed a new sign, in our Peone Prairie, "FRESH EGGS". Wouldn't it be wonderful to have fresh eggs for breakfast each morning, and to walk into the hen's house with a basket to fill. I think so, but, my husband doesn't think it would be so wonderful...not yet anyway!!!
I agree! I've always wanted chickens, but I'm pretty sure the neighbors would protest. They already have to endure our never ending projects that tend to mess up our carport.
I had chickens a few years ago...now they are in heaven. I think next year I will get some more. And if you share fresh eggs with your neighbors they don't seem to mind so much! Ha!
I was just thinking that I should stop by one of those family egg farms this week!!=) I feel like my three little guys are like a brood of chickens...I'll stick to the store I guess=) LOve Hollie
Keep working on your hubby..it's wonderful to have your own home grown eggs from your own home grown chickens! I love my chickens, and I honestly never thought I'd say that, but they are so sweet. And once people hear you have eggs, they'll line up to get some! Lisa ;-)
