The caravan left town on Friday morning, with our posse of 5 kids,2 cars,1 very pregnant sis, a Nana and me of course.We visited our friends The Funky Junk Sisters at their fantastic show. Everything we heard was true, everyone of the vendors were fabulous! We loved seeing LuLu and our friends at Retreat Kennedy, Shabby Scraps, Nia from Summerland and from our side of the mountain, Ann from The Nestting.
Kim of MiMi Charmante...a very sweet and talented lady (we met her at The Barnhouse, she took care of our every need at The July Barnhouse Flea Market)
We are so happy that we were able to support the TATA's....We shopped and shopped and visited old time friends,Sara and her cute hubby Yani..
They talked about there plans to start a family. She asked me if I would be a surrogate :) The answer is NO!!! If I can do it 3 times you can do it once yourself...
On Sat. night we visited Melissa her baby Judah and daughter Juliana. It was Melissa's 31st Happy Birthday! Happy "B" Melissa... Her kids are soooooo adorable!!! We love her and her beautiful family.
Well... 2 beds,3 adults 5 kids and 4 1/2 hours drive~ We need another weekend away just to rest.xoxo Celia & Glad

Simple Pleasure
This is the time of the year when we're reminded of abundance... Italian Plums is one abundance we love to have. This recipe was given to me by my mother from her mother and given to her from my Great Na Na, from Italy!
You'll love the smell~ such a simple pleasure..
5 lbs of Plums/equal parts sugar
3 oranges
1 lemon
2 cups of raisins
2 T cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
Grind plums, oranges, lemon, add sugar and spices.
Cook on stove until thick. ( approx. 2 hrs)
Cook in oven on low heat for 2 to 3 hrs.
Then put into jars~
Enjoy!
