Please Don't Stereotype Her

She will be at the FARM CHICKS SHOW!!!! Just because she's a channelback chair doesn't mean she's stuffy! She doesn't have to be in a formal living room. She would look great at the dining room table. Put her in the bedroom and toss clothes on her. Make a reading nook in that corner you never use. Put her in any place that feels just right. Please take her home with you!!!

Or bring home these ladies, they are the sweetest dining chairs, and we know they would look fabulous in your home too!!

We have been making totes for you to carry all your treasures!!! Looking forward to seeing you all, at THE FARM CHICKS ~ June 5 & 6

Honey...I'm Home

When I come home, these are some of the things that weclome me, its like receiving a gift every time I come home. A beautiful bird house my friend Lynn made for me, a collection of metal chairs for friends and love ones to sit and enjoy the sun and the sunsets, my rooster... my sweet husband bought for me on my birthday, even our weather old fence welcomes me home. Our home is a place of comfort and peace. We have loved our home for eighteen years and she loves us back.

Junking ~ Colfax Farm

Our junking buddy ~ Val ( watch out for her, even at 7 AM she's fast)

We have a fascination with old homes and farms, we are always wondering about their histroy and who lived in them. We're are always wondering what might be in the attic or basement, or behind the closet door. To discover something in an old forgotten trunk...some old photos or treasures stashed away waiting to be found!

Precious Moments To Cherish

Last week our Dylan had more blood tests, as we waited for the results, my husband and I talked about unforseen threats to someone we hold dear to us and it jared us into profound awarness of how much we have, and how much there is to be grateful for.

We need to remind ourselves daily not to take anything or anyone for granted.

We thank God, Dylan's tests were good.

Breathtaking Spring and New Changes

Did you know that it takes twenty-one days for a new habit to take hold, which is just about the time it takes for most bulbs to bloom. What I LOVE about this ritual is that it keeps reminding me in a fresh way that positive, change brings unexpected beauty in our daily life.
